Manifest with me this May!

Manifesting
Manifesting

I feel like we are in a season of calling upon the Universe to bless us with the spirit of abundance. Have you noticed the trees in full bloom, the sweetness of the early spring flowers, the warm sunshine and little blue robin eggs? I've spent the last several days researching manifestation techniques.  This is not my first time diving into the process but I am ready to recommit. I would like to share with you a few highlights I came across.

1st- We must honestly and clearly set our intentions, believe that we deserve what we desire and trust the Universe will provide.

2nd- Focusing on the finish line can be counterproductive. Instead, focus on being disciplined, consistent and committed to those small steps along the way. This will raise your vibration and help your inner light shine!

3rd- Gratitude is huge. If we focus on what's bringing us joy, the joy will grow.  If we focus on the fear, pain and disappointments, that will grow.

4th- Do the work and don't give up before the miracles happen. Think of what small steps you CAN take today, even if that step is restorative self-care!

Gratitude

What are you grateful for? Can you commit to thinking about this each day?

  • Today, I am grateful for those magnificent gifts of spring and how they fill my heart with light and warmth.

  • Today, I am grateful for all the people I have met along the way:  teaching yoga, leading art therapy groups, dancing for joy, attending spiritual/ healing events, and supporting local community members.

  • Today I am grateful for all that I have accomplished and experienced over the years from education to creation, healing to helping others. (I have a tendency to forget all these wonderful things I have done.)

Curious about meditation? Has your current meditation practice grown stale? In this 4-part series we will be exploring 16 different meditations.  The elements we will be learning about include breathing techniques (praanayam), sound (mantra),  movement (yes, you can meditate without stillness) and balance (a goal we all strive for). This is for anyone looking to improve their meditation skills. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket or chair to practice in.  If the weather is nice we will be outside!

Journaling is about clearing your mind and expressing yourself in a safe, contained, judgement free notebook.  Similar to this, visual journaling is an opportunity for us to play with creative concepts without the stress of outcome.  We are not seeking perfection, we are seeking an experience.  In this 4-week series you will be given unique prompts to work on in class and in between sessions.  Please bring a journal, sketch book or old hardback book! All other art materials will be provided but you may choose to bring anything from home.

Spreading Light, Laughter and Love,

-Jessica
