Grandmother Spider is calling...

The spider gets a bad rap especially around Halloween time. Instead of the spider bringing fear, I have felt a familiar comfort each time I see the webs around my house. While reviewing spider energy and Grandmother spider stories I came across a prayer and I'd love to share it with you now.
"Grandmother Spider, teach me to weave a web to hold all of my parts. Show me the way to shine in my darkness. Let me feel connected to the great web that brings us ALL together."
Spider energy aligns with the tenth body which is the Radiant body and 10 relates to the month of October. Here we find and are open to abundance, creativity, confidence, connection, and protection. Now is the time for us to attract people and situations which will benefit ALL people. Here we can, "weave our dreams into the fabric of life beginning with a single thread of intention". It is an invitation to commit to taking action and release limiting beliefs.
What is one small step you can take today?
Whenever I literally weave (warp and weft) there is a feeling of coming home to my soul. It feels timeless, cozy and sacred. Other activities that summon this soul connection for me include writing poetry, intuitive dancing and singing mantra. What activities bring you inner peace and connection with your ancestor's spirit?
"Be wise about the life you continue to weave for yourself". Is it a strong web full of discipline, self-love and clarity? Or does each small decision lead you further away from your calm, courageous, connected spirit? Below I will list workshops and weekly classes for you to consider when weaving in a little self-love!
